May Community Meeting – The Ups and Downs of Caring for Abandoned and Feral Cats

May 3 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

We’re also excited to have Jane Azevedo as our guest speaker. Jane has been caring for what we call the Hospice Colony (located near the Hospice center) since 2017. Before that, she was instrumental in managing the Avalon Colony. Between the two sites, she’s helped get around 45 cats spayed or neutered. She’s still working on trapping two elusive males at the Hospice site!

Jane will share her experiences with feeding, trapping, and the spay/neuter process. Her focus also includes ongoing care for a few remaining colony cats. If you’re currently caring for or feeding outdoor cats—or thinking about getting involved—this is a talk you won’t want to miss!

The May 3 meeting has been moved to the Tuolumne County Senior Center, 540 Greenley Rd, Sonora, CA 95370
