Spay and Neuter
We facilitate spay and neuter services and rabies vaccinations for ferals (see definitions). We are notveterinarians and do not offer additional vaccinations, diagnostics or microchipping. We are able to loan outtraps with a 100% refundable deposit of $50 or by offering something of an equal value to hold until you returnthe trap.
Professional and compassionate spay/neuter care for your pet or rescue.
All feral and community/barn cats (see definitions) must have an eartip with the spay/neuter surgery. No exceptions!

Phone us at 209-454-0033 and leave a detailed message about your animal (cat/dog, male/female, feral/community cat, weight, etc.) Thank you for your patience while our volunteers get back to you.
Preparing for Your Appointment
Spay and neuter surgeries are routine, but they are still surgeries! There are some key steps that you can take to ensure that the animal is prepared and safe:
No food after 8pm the night before surgery.
No water the morning of surgery.
If your pet is hard to catch, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to contain them before your appointment.
Prepare a contained space at home for your pet to return to and recover so they do not overexert themselves and you can keep an eye on them for a few hours.
If you have a feral cat that has just been spayed or neutered please release cat in the same area that cat was trapped. Do not leave cat in trap to recover.
Put out food and water for cat.
Need more services?
We want to make sure that most of the cats and dogs in our community are fixed, and that’s our focus. We are not a replacement for your regular veterinarian. If your pet needs a check-up, vaccination, diagnosis, or microchip, we have some incredible veterinarians and clinics in the area. There are also some great services to help with non-medical pet needs.
